Since my early days, Arabic has been my passion. I am a native Arabic linguist, living in Egypt. Despite the fact that, in Egypt, we are speaking a slang Arabic (Egyptian vs. standard Arabic), I have in-depth education in Arabic, and editing skills, through a post-graduate course at the American University in Cairo.

In addition, besides my extensive knowledge of Arabic as a native language and my academic education, I have studied English Literature during my four-year college, at Cairo University. Hence, I have academic and practical experience in both Arabic and English.

My academic education in Arabic and English is supported by over 15 year-experience in the translation and localization business.

Translation practice and hands-on experience have supported my academic knowledge through a variety of language techniques, tactics, and uses.

I mainly translate from English into Arabic and vice versa. I can deliver a final document or a video file as TEP (translated, edited and proofread).

Furthermore, to enhance my skills and to cope with the current changes towards the “explosion of content”, I am licensed by SDL and TAUS as a certified Machine Translation Output Post-Editor.
